I know it’s cliche to post love poetry around Valentine’s Day, and it would be even worse to reduce Roseline Mgbodichinma’s poem ‘A galaxy of entropies” to the tired genre of love poetry. It is much more than that, of course, and offers a poignant window into the pain and power of sensations.

Roseline Mgbodichinma is a Nigerian writer passionate about documenting women’s stories. She is a Nairobi fiction writing workshop (NF2W) scholarship recipient. She was shortlisted for the Lagos-London Poetry Competition funded by the British Council and the Isele Short Story Prize. She was the third prize winner in the PIN food poetry contest. Her work has appeared online and in print and are published in Poet Lore, Agbowo, Isele Magazine, Swwim, Native Skin, Down River Road, JFA Human Rights Journal, and elsewhere.
