Robinson’s History of North Dakota was originally published by the University of Nebraska Press in 1966 and, today, is still a top seller at NDSU Press (go here to buy a copy). A collaboration between The Digital Press at the University of North Dakota, The Northern Plains Heritage Foundation, and the Chester Fritz Library has made Robinson work available as a free, open access download.
