North Dakota Quarterly is moving a few doors down in historic Merrifield Hall on the lovely campus of the University of North Dakota. As a result, I’m sitting in an office full of boxes and empty bookshelves. In fact, most of my job as editor of North Dakota Quarterly has involved the putting of books into boxes and then looking for books in those same boxes to put into other boxes.
Like most moves, it’s bitter-sweet moving from a large two-room office to a smaller, two-room office, but the pressure to use space more efficiently on campus is intensifying as part of the university’s financial adjustments.
Fortunately, there is more good news than bad from NDQ and hopefully over the next month, we’ll be able to share more good news with you in terms of a our publication schedule, publisher, and a new subscription drive!
Plus, stay tuned for a tour of our new digs.
