As our newest issue is heading out to subscribers, we have a few more bits of good news from NDQ headquarters.

First, Wayne Harrison’s short story collection Wrench won the 2015 New American Fiction Prize and will be published in 2017. His story “Seasons of Doubt” is in this issue of NDQ.

Dennis McFadden’s short story, “Tickle Me George,” is part of a collection which won the Press 53 Award for 2016. NDQ published it in Vol 71.1 (Winter 2004).

Finally, check out our poetry editor Heidi Czerwiec’s redesigned web site and the news that she accepted a position as a teaching artist at the Loft Literary Center in Minneapolis.
