Hi! My name is Lizzie Andrews and I am a sophomore at the University of North Dakota. I am studying English and hoping to get into publishing once I graduate. I grew up with parents that read to me before I went to bed every night and I believe that it where my love for the written word began. I can honestly say that books are some of my favorite things in the world, they provide me an escape for when the real world begins to get too stressful. Along with the written word I also enjoy spending time in the outdoors with my dog, watching UND hockey, and napping in the afternoons.
A few of my favorite books are Where the Red Fern Grows by Wilson Rawls, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime by Mark Haddon, and Let’s Pretend This Never Happened by Jenny Lawson. Working at NDQ has been a blessing so far, mostly because of all the wonderful people I get to work with and the writing I get to read. I am so excited for the rest of my time here.
